How to stake on the MultiversX network
Below is a written version of the instructions from the video above. Whether you prefer written guidance or just want to take your time, we've got you covered. Review the steps below for an easy staking experience.
To begin, we need to create a MultiversX wallet, if you don't already have one. Go to https://wallet.multiversx.com/ and choose 'Create a new wallet'
Tick the boxes to indicate that you understand, then 'Continue'
Ensure that you save the words from your mnemonic in the correct order and then tick the box before selecting 'Create Wallet'
Enter the correct words from your secret phrase, then 'Continue'
Now, you can create a password and then click 'Continue'
Once your wallet is successfully created, a keystore file should be automatically downloaded. Remember to store this file securely, along with your secret phrase (mnemonic), as you will require it to access your wallet in the future. Now click 'Access Wallet'
Select the keystore file that was created and enter your password, then 'Access Wallet'
These are all the available addresses you can use. For simplicity, we chose the first one. Click 'Access Wallet' to proceed.
As this is a newly created wallet, the balance will be zero. You can find your wallet address in the top right corner to begin depositing EGLD
Once you have some EGLD in your wallet, you can start staking. Simply go to the "Stake" tab to proceed.
Click 'Stake Now'
Type the name of your favourite validator, Staking4All, then 'Continue'
Enter the amount you wish to stake or use the slider then 'Continue'
'Confirm' the transaction and wait a few seconds for the transaction to process
Click on the dropdown arrow to view your delegation. You will be able to claim rewards by clicking on the 'Claim Rewards' button when you have a rewards balance
